Independence Day Celebration
Friday, July 4, 2008
12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.
Wilson Park Swimming Pool

There's no better way to celebrate this All-American holiday, than with your Green Tree friends and neighbors! Spend the day at the pool, in the pool, or near the pool for a variety of games, raffles, activities, prizes and fun with family and friends! And last year's popular dunk tank will be back with an array of local officials to be the brunt of the dunk!

The 4th of July ceremonies begin with the raising of the flag by American Legion Post #823 at noon. A delicious poolside lunch is available for a nominal fee. Sign up for the raffles as soon as you arrive. They go on during the entire event, thanks to our many local businesses. It's a Green Tree tradition. Games, relays and competitions for both adults and children fill the rest of the Independence Day event... and there's always the pool. Be there!

NOTE: You do NOT need a pool pass on July 4th to attend this event.
