Pool passes are on sale at the Green Tree Municial Center Office, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:00 p.m., and also at the pool during pool hours.

Swimming Lessons at Green Tree Pool

Three session of swimming lessons begin on June 16, June 30, and July 14. Classes are held Monday through Thursday mornings for two weeks. Private lessons are 30 minutes; group lessons are one hour. Classes are available for beginners, advanced beginners, intermediates and swimmers. Applicants for group lessons must have pool passes. A limited number of swimming lessons will be offered at the pool in the evenings at 7:00 p.m. Evening classes will begin on the same dates as listed above for children who are unable to attend morning sessions. Only private classes are available in the evenings.

Before the pool opens for the season, register for swimming lessons at the Municipal Center Office where a complete listing of sessions, levels, and times are available. After the pool opens, please register for swimming lessons at the pool.

Note: Non-residents cannot register prior to the Friday before specific session begins. Non-residents taking lessons must first purchase a non-resident pool pass.

Pool Rental

The pool may be rented for a period of two hours for private parties at a cost of $140.00 for 25 or less people; $180.00 for 26-50 people. There is a $100.00 security deposit required that is payable at the time the reservation is made. Arrangements must be made with the Pool Manager.

Tot Pool

The Tot Pool will be open during the same hours as the main pool for our pre-school guests - (see above schedule).

Disposable swim pants are required on our guests who are not yet potty-trained. No diapers are allowed in the pool! You may bring your own swim pants or purchase them at the concession stand.

GREEN TREE POOL RAIN POLICY

The pool follows the National Weather Service forecasts to determine whether to stay open or to close on rainy days. When the rain begins, the pool will remain open for two hours and the National Weather Service will be contacted for the latest weather information. If the forecast indicates that rain is expected to continue, the pool will close for the day. If the forecast calls for the weather to clear shortly, the pool will remain open.

The pool will be closed immediately if any thunder or lightning occurs. No one will be allowed back into the pool for 30 minutes. Each new rumble of thunder or flash to lightning starts the clock over again. The pool will be closed in the event of a severe thunderstorm or other weather emergency.
