Building Codes Board of Appeals
The Building Codes Board of Appeals has exclusive jurisdiction to hear and render final adjudications regarding appeals of the Building Code Official's decision, requests for variances and requests for extensions of time in regard to the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (except in accessibility matters, which must be filed with the State Department of Labor and Industry).
The Building Codes Board of Appeals also has exclusive jurisdiction to hear and render final adjudications regarding appeals of a Fire Code Official’s decision, request for a variance and requests for extensions of time related to the International Fire Code.
